This is the third full length album from this California 4 piece. With Days Slipping By the Pine has shown that they have mastered their sound based on a mixture of early '90s emocore and straight out rock music. This album brings forth intriguing lyrics that bring forth such feelings as sorrow, sadness, and depression but at the same time ties in a feeling of hope and overcoming struggle. These songs seem very upset and emotional (even more then previous releases) expressing regret and apology but also a lot of anger. Days Slipping By as many people will tell you is this bands deepest and most powerful release to date. This band has been around for quite some time now and they just keep developing more with each release. 10 songs, silk screened covers, beautiful artwork, and limited to 700 copies. |
